Snow has fallen, Starbucks holiday cups appear next tuesday, and Target just announced their holiday campaign. It has finally begun. People behind the scenes have been thinking about the holidays for months, but now it’s time for the public to experience all your hard work.
We went on a hunt for certain displays for the Postcard gallery and saw some great holiday displays already, but I’m ready to watch the campaigns come to life on air (maybe I’m the only one?).
Target got push back from airing their holiday campaign in the middle of October in 2012, but now they’re just telling us what it is. We’ll see #MyKindOfHoliday from Thanksgiving to Christmas – commercials will start airing next week.
I think the campaign will be successful because it showcases different holidays, family interactions, and their great products. And let’s not forget their call for action with their hashtag #MyKindofHoliday.
