In this report Nielsen looks at today’s connected shopper. Specifically this study examines how shoppers are using computers, tablets, and mobile phones to assist in the grocery shopping.

Over the last 2 years shopper intentions to buy food or beverages has increased 44% with over a quarter of respondents reporting they would buy food online. This study looks at how shoppers are using the Internet to prepare for the grocery trip and the role it plays in marketing programs.
