This study sought to determine, through retail sales tracking, what change in retail sales is associated with the presence of point-of-purchase advertising materials, what change in retail sales is associated with certain types of point-of-purchase display materials, the effect of display location on sales of like products, and whether the length of time the product is on display affects display effectiveness.
