Mike Lanaghan, Wm. J Wrigley Company

Mike Lanaghan has been working with display materials at the Wm. J Wrigley Company for 35 years, during which time he has been a strong voice in raising the level of importance of merchandising within the company. As a member of POPAI’s Board of Directors, a judge for POPAI’s Outstanding Merchandising Achievement (OMA) contest and participant in numerous POPAI committees over the years, Lanaghan is admired for his ethical approach in choosing suppliers and his respect for the intellectual property of his vendors.

At Wrigley, Mike helped developed RFI technology testing and the development of “Smart Shelf” applications recognizing that out of stocks often prevented sales increases at retail.

Mike has often put the interests of POPAI before his own and has opened the facilities of Wrigley for POPAI sponsored events.
