Ethyl Acetate

Ethyl acetate, chemical formula H3C2OOC2H5, also known as acetic ether, is a compound of acetic acid and ethanol. A liquid at atmospheric pressure, ethyl acetate is used as a solvent for synthetic resins, coatings and glues and a basis for various synthetic processes. In printing, this hydrocarbon is used as a comparatively non-toxic solvent for printing inks.
