Erasable Printing Form

In the field of computer-to-print in the digital printing sector, printing cylinders imaged in the press are used as erasable printing forms. This can be achieved, for example, by using heat to apply a thin plastic layer for generating the print image. After the print job has been completed, the print image can then be removed mechanically from the form (for example using a wash-up liquid), so that the form can then be used for a new image.
