The marketing at retail industry has seen quite a few changes in its time. The way we shop, where we shop, and who does the shopping have all changed. The way in which we produce retail and merchandising displays to inform and influence shoppers has changed. Even the way we identify as an industry has changed. But with all these changes one thing has remained constant — POPAI has been there every step of the way to help educate and guide the marketing at retail community.

Join us at the historic Intercontinental Hotel to celebrate over 75 years of progress and for the many more years that are sure to follow!  We will also be honoring industry pioneers and legends as part of the Night of Honors.

Many conventional supermarkets are watching Roundy's newest foray into fresh with interest, and it's likely some will attempt to follow their lead. Offering quality products and varied selection, unparalleled customer service and compelling prices—not to mention pioneering a unique retail concept under the Mariano's Fresh Market banner in Chicago— POPAI is awarding the 2012 Retail Chief Award for Retail Marketing Excellence to the fast-growing Milwaukee-based retail grocery company Roundy's, Inc.

POPAI’s Industry Achievement Award is presented to those producers, brand marketers and retailers who merit recognition for their industry achievements but have fewer than 25 years of service.
