POPAI Digital Signage Group

Digital signage is showing up in many places these days; the super market, post office, public transportation. In recognition of the importance of this media to marketing and advertising strategy, POPAI, the global Association for Marketing at-Retail, built the industry's Digital Signage Group.

"I'm very excited about the credibility and exposure that POPAI can bring to the digital signage industry. After many years of   investment in nurturing and growing this market, 3M Digital is happy to see alliances like this one taking shape,"

The POPAI Digital Signage Group has been created to promote the adoption of dynamic digital signage, technologies and applications. This new group is organized as part of the POPAI structure and will focus on issues specific to dynamic digital signage and in-store networks.

The Digital Signage Group will provide industry information, profiles of proven solutions, market research and education to demonstrate the ability of digital signage solutions to inform, educate and influence. POPAI is an industry based association so the group is inclusive toAdvertisingAgencies, Brands, Retailers, Producers and Suppliers of traditional Retail Marketing.

Digital Signage Areas of Focus


Image• Industry Standards – Setting standards of practice and terms for sales and marketing plus technical standards.
• Advocacy and Promotion – Information and success stories on the benefits of Digital Media and In-Store Networks brought to the marketplace by a nonprofit industry association and its members.
• Research – Definition of needs, standards and implementation of research for consumer impact, return on investment and measurement of Digital Media effectiveness.
• Education – Establishment of an educational syllabus to provide in-depth instruction on digital media in the retail marketing setting.
• Networking – An industry association based on the inclusiveity of: Brands, Retailers and Producers of traditional Retail Marketing.
