PLANT TOURS:
The afternoon of each day will be
devoted to plant tours. On Wednesday, attendees will visit InnoMark
Communications, a modern pre-press and print operation. Participants
will interact with skilled professionals and view state-of-the-art
equipment used in high-end image manipulation, pre-press activities,
the latest digital printing technology and large format lithographic
printing for a wide range of retail, POP and packaging projects.
Thursday afternoon will include a tour of Lewisburg Container,
considered one of the best in its graphics capabilities for packaging
and display projects produced by flexographic printing or flexo
combined with offset or digital elements. Participants will tour the
plant and see the various stages of production and how both high
graphics and more routine corrugated bases and cartons are printed and
converted into three dimensional form for distribution to
points-of-sale.
At the conclusion of Thursday's tour, the bus will take
participants to the airport or back to the hotel as needed.
